why this exists
Two people. One slightly ridiculous idea. And a feeling far too many of us know.
it started pretty ordinarily
ANDREW WAS THE CLIENT.
JESS WAS THE CREATIVE.
They worked together for years and, when the day-to-day work eventually stopped, the conversations didn't.
A few unexpected opportunities brought them back into each other's orbit, sparked some new thinking and eventually led to them starting a business together, helping people and businesses unlock their potential through branding.
Along the way, their combined worlds have stretched across marketing, branding, leadership, coaching, counselling, consulting, start-ups, regressional hypnosis therapy and plenty in between.
And they started noticing something.
Some of the most capable and inspiring people they met were quietly wondering whether they actually had what it took.
So were they.
THEN CAME THE CONVERSATION.
There was an opportunity. A big one.
One of them was trying to explain why, if it actually happened, it wouldn't really feel earned.
"I'd feel like a Trojan Horse. Like I'd somehow snuck through the gates and would have to work twice as hard to prove I deserved to be there."
The other saw it completely differently. Because they didn't see someone who'd snuck in. They saw someone who had a habit of bringing energy, ideas and a little bit of magic wherever they went.
Someone who always seemed to...
SPARKLE.
And that's when it clicked.

Maybe you did sneak in.

Maybe it was talent, hard work, luck, timing, a random coffee, someone taking a chance on you, or some ridiculous combination of all of them.
It doesn't really matter anymore. You're there. The opportunity is real. And the time is now.
So instead of wasting it wondering whether you're good enough, whether someone made a mistake or when you're going to get found out...
Make the most of it. Do the work. Do the people who backed you proud. And bring everything you've got.

Jess was told early that design wasn't a good path for her. Eventually she found her way back through office support at a digital agency, taught herself, stuck her head up and discovered she was pretty damn good at it.
She's been following that instinct ever since.
Jess has a knack for following the magic, and an even better one for helping other people find theirs.
Hence, Chief Unicorn.

Andrew has spent an unreasonable amount of his life explaining opportunities with two words:
"Got lucky."
A coffee becomes a job. A conversation opens a door. Somehow he's in another room wondering how he got there.
He's slowly learning that how he got through the gates matters considerably less than what he does once he's inside.
Hence, Chief Trojan.

Once we had a name for it, we started seeing Trojan Unicorns everywhere.
At work. At home. In sport. In hobbies. In relationships. In parenthood. On stages. Behind closed doors.
Ordinary people stepping into extraordinary moments and quietly wondering:

We want to understand those moments.
